We are deeply saddened by the recent fire in Tai Po that affected many people. We send our heartfelt care and sympathy to all the families involved.

Our team is providing important support to those affected right now:

Immediate Help

• We have a special hotline and WhatsApp number: 6879 6542 (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM). This line is for children and teens with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who feel scared or stressed because of the fire.
• Our social workers and counselors in Tai Po, Sha Tin, and North District are watching over our students and their families to make sure they get the help they need.
• 40 of our social workers are volunteering their time to give support and practical help to children from affected families who are now living in temporary homes.

Ongoing Support

• Thanks to help from companies and foundations, we have opened a playroom and offer temporary care for the affected children. We will also arrange things like homework help and weekend activities.
• We are helping SEN students in the Tai Po area adjust quickly to their new classrooms and school environments after being moved.
