Educational Psychologist II (Half-Time)

Responsibilities
  • To act as a consultant and provide advice on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programmes for children with special needs at the Society’s centres and in educational settings, including kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools; 
  • To participate in the coordination, evaluation, and enhancement of the overall programmes of the centres/units; 
  • To provide assessment and advice on the management of complex cases in various service units and offer counselling to parents as needed; 
  • To provide staff training and deliver training courses for parents and teachers; 
  • To take part in China projects as arranged by the Project Manager; 
  • To initiate and manage research and special projects of the Society;  
  • To undertake any other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Educational Psychology from a Hong Kong university or equivalent;
  • Obtained full membership of the Division of Educational Psychology of the Hong Kong Psychological Society and/or Hong Kong Association of Educational Psychologists;
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
