Admission Application Arrangement for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Students 

• Interviews with non-Chinese speaking children, let parents know about our school’s curriculum. 

• The information and forms provided are available in English version. 

• Parents and children may be accompanied by relatives and friends who understand Chinese to assist  

in communication.

Support Measures for Non-Chinese Speaking Students 

• To build a culture of respect and fraternity, our kindergarten organize different cultural inclusion  

activities to engage NCS parents and children in the school and community. 

• To provide better support and help NCS children learn Chinses language. The kindergarten is committed 

to training teachers to strengthen their teachings by further study the course learning and Teaching 

Course for NCS children.Such as: “EDB online activity- Supporting Learning and Teaching for Non- 

Chinese Speaking Children” and “C-for- Chinese@JC” Project. 

• NCS teachers conduct different activities in small groups to enhance NCS children’s ability to learn  

Chinese. Through the peer interactions, games, situations, role plays etc. Provided in the groups, those  

activities can enhance the interest of learning Chinese for NCS students who will learn the structure of  

Chinese characters and continue the language learning process. 

• Arrange NCS teachers to join the class to help NCS children learn in the classroom. 

• Provide Chinese vocabularies and sentence book with support audio via QR code, so that children can  

review the study contents at home. 

• Taking care of the growing needs of NCS students,improving the social development of NCS students  

and developing an inclusive school culture for facilitating NCS student to integrate in school life.
