Heep Hong Society 55th Anniversary Conference

Life-long challenges, life-long support –
Unleashing the Potential of Individuals with Special Educational Needs

 

 

Marking the 55th anniversary of Heep Hong Society, the conference under the theme of the anniversary, “Growing Potential, Shining Tomorrow” will be organised. This conference aims at providing updated knowledge from overseas and mainland China experts on how to help and empower individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and their families throughout the different life stages, from pre-school to school age, post-secondary and young adulthood. The experts from the United States and mainland China will deliver keynote speeches, followed by concurrent workshops on teaching strategies and evidence-based interventions, target to help students with SEN in mainstream schools and young adults in open employment. The overseas experts will also conduct two certification workshops before and after the conference for different professionals across the field.
