  Family Support Programmes
A wide range of family support programmes, such as support group, educational talks / workshops, family outings and community visits, are in the pipeline to build up a support network among ethnic minority families of children with special needs and enable them to tap personal, community & cultural resources in bringing up children.

  Parent Education
Classes will be held for ethnic minority parents of children with special needs to equip them with better parenting skills and heighten their awareness of children's developmental problems in the hope that intervention could be arranged at the first hint of those problems.

Parent education packages on topics of child care, language stimulation, gross motor and self-care training, cognitive and social development will be developed for ethnic minority families in English, Nepali and Urdu.

  Volunteer Ambassadors Scheme
Ethnic minority youths from middle schools are encouraged to act as volunteer ambassadors to help children with special needs after receiving proper training. In the long run, the new generation of ethnic minorities could hopefully be well-aware of the importance of early identification and treatment for developmental problems.

  Training for Professionals
Sharing workshops will be conducted to enhance the cultural sensitivity of professionals involved in the services provision for the ethnic minority families.
