Background
 

In 2000, Heep Hong Society launched the Supportive Learning Project (SLP) which aims at providing timely professional assessment, therapy and support services for children who have learning difficulties from birth to studying in primary schools and early secondary schools, as well as providing training programmes for teachers and parents.
 
 
Mission
 

Through professional assessment, therapy and community education, we target to enhance the overall development of children and to assist their parents, teachers and the public to understand the needs and challenges that the children may encounter during their growing years.
 
　
Target Service Group
　
  • Children from birth to studying in nurseries, kindergartens, primary schools, early secondary schools and special schools who have speech and developmental delay, or specific learning difficulties.

SLP is a self-financed service without any subvention from the Government, for which fees are charged on users.
